Raglan Vine Festival 2026
Wine, Craft Beer & Spirits Tasting
Sunday 25 January 2026
Raglan Vine events are designed for all levels of interest. The wines range from bold Reds to delicate Whites, each pour telling a story of passion and craftsmanship. The grape choice, the soil type and, of course, the climate are all ballanced by each vineyard to maximise the quality. No small job each year!
Dive into a selection of Craft Beers, and use our Tasting Notes booklet to record your preferences. For example, Karamu Barrelworks beer is made in the traditional Belgian way – turbid mash, aged hops, long boil, open tray, aged in oak barrels, refermented on honeyberries, the whole process takes about 2 years.
Learn about the process of creating spirits – Mill, Mash, Ferment, Distil, Temper, Bottle – and what they mean when creating Classic Dry Gin, or Damson Gin, or Pure Malt Vodka.

Handcrafted Wine
Raglan
Grown on the foothills of Mt Karioi, overlooking the restless Ruapuke swell, the unique character of Barrelled Wines is defined by this steep, windswept and unforgiving terrain. Handpicked and handcrafted with minimal interference at our home, we make our small batch releases with a true artisan approach.

Fen & Field Gin
Te Awamutu
Fen and Field was born out of a love of crafting exceptional spirits. The rich history of mashing, fermenting and distilling grains to produce Gin, Vodka and Whiskey goes back 400 years and in that time the recipe for success has never changed, grain, water, yeast and dedication.
We firmly believe Fen and Field is more than just a gin brand, rather we are a continuation of a long and storied tradition. A tradition that can turn golden Canterbury wheat and pure water from a deep limestone bore into an unequalled Gin.

Karamu Barrelworks
Traditional Belgian
This beer is made in the traditional Belgian way – a grist of 40% raw wheat and 60% malted barley, a turbid mash, aged hops, a long boil, spontaneously fermented (the wort is cooled overnight in an open tray allowing wild yeast and bacteria to inoculate it), aged in oak barrels for at least 1 year and then refermented on honeyberries for 2 months before packaging. The whole process takes about 2 years.

Meyer Cheese
Waikato
The roots of Meyer Cheese trace back to a small village in the Netherlands, where Ben and Fieke visited a monastery producing handmade cheese. Intrigued by this craft, they embarked on a flavourful adventure, turning their hay shed into a world of cheese. Their first masterpiece, a young farmhouse Gouda, was born in July 1976.
Seeking fresh pastures they voyaged to New Zealand in 1984, planting their roots in Waikato, the dairy heartland. Now Meyer Cheese is a business admired for its commitment to quality, tradition, and the art of cheese making.

Urban Winery
New Plymouth
Known Unknown is an urban winery in New Plymouth, Taranaki. We think the world of wine can be exclusive and elitist, however, as an urban winery we’re dedicated to changing that.
We want to make wine fun, approachable, accessible, and transparent. We make fruit-forward, fun, bright and expressive wine, cider and aperitifs.
We are heavily inspired by the worlds of art, design, music and food and thrive on collaborating across disciplines.

Cult Wine
Waikato / Auckland
Natural, Lo-Fi and Small Batch wine from NZ and around the world!
Cult seeks out and stocks the kind of interesting wines that don’t just satisfy your tastebuds but also start conversations and offer you the history, the culture and the story behind the vines.
With a focus on organic and biodynamic wines and on rare, unusual and indigenous varieties, Cult aims to expand your wine horizons. Championing creativity, diversity and authenticity!
